Creating Our Hoodies – 6th April 2022

We were very excited to reveal our CGCDesigns brand hoodies. As we progress as a company we felt it was necessary to have something that the public can recognise us with. We decided due to the nature of our company and the message that we give to our customers that we are a relaxing company that hoodies would be the best fit. So we set up the process of trying to create our hoodies.

Two people in navy blue hoodies with bats on.

We started out the process of making our hoodies by brain storming our ideas. We wanted to include our signature skellybats and the blue theme of our company. We decided on the images we wanted to use but also wanted to ensure that our hoodies were something that our customers would love! So, we took to Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tiktok and presented our customers with our hoodies. They decided that they wanted Navy hoodies and text on the back with 78.6% voting for navy and 69.2% saying that they wanted the text on the back. So that’s what we did!

Taking our customers feedback in mind we went about making the hoodie which involved extensive research around what hoodies we were going to choose. Although, we knew we wanted navy hoodies we wanted to ensure that they were high quality but at an affordable cost, eventually find the right hoodie. We then printed out the designs that we had created after consulting our colleagues. In the original stages the stars on one of our designs looked a little bit too much like pancakes for our liking which we are now able to laugh about now.

After printing out our perfected designs we ironed them onto the hoodies and put the hoodies through the testing phase. We ensured that our hoodies were durable so that we could wear them at events and fitted how we liked them. We even had to redo some of the work we had done to ensure they looked right.

We then moved on to modelling our hoodies. As you can see in some of the above images we highly enjoyed modelling our hoodies and spent a day ensuring that the pictures we created were perfect. Ensuring that the location we picked fitting the theme of our shoot and fitted our image.

We then used the images we had gathered to create posts for our social media pages which are linked on the front page of our website. We kept to our blue theme and consulted our colleagues on the posts we created to ensure there were no errors and that they matched the brand theme. We then took to social media where our followers loved the designs! With one follower saying “😍😍😍😍 love the colour 😍” and we received a lot of likes! We aim to continue wearing and posting about out hoodies and hope that our customers continue to love them. We may even consider creating more hoodies with different designs in the future as we continue the ever developing CGCDesigns empire.
